The “Cap Griz Nez” is situated halfway Boulogne, city of art and history, the ancient city surrounded by ramparts, the fishing port and many touristical curiosities, such as: The column of Napoleon, Nausicaä, the Castel and his museum and Calais “ La bourgeoise “, middle class town with all sorts of commerces,the famous lace of Calais, the citadelle, the Chunnel- and ferryboat terminals and the large white sand beach

You will find te Cap Griz Nez at the extreme west in the North of France. It is a rather savage region, where sandbeaches and cliffs go along together, better known as the “côte d’ Opale”.Calm and magestic, it is a pure and secret place where “La Manche” and the North Sea are fading away. There is also the light seawind, dispersing the salutary Iodine into the air. Hidden by the typical coast vegetation, one can find many foot-paths and mountainbike tracks crossing eachother.
These crossings are fitted with guideboards and they will lead you to the traces of history and the remains of a supposed invasion that never occurred.

At Cap Gris Nez, you will also meet fishermen who, after a rude ty, pull there “flobards” at shore, filled with crabfish, mussels and all sorts of fishes.You can taste the local gastronomy, that will offer you all these seaproducts, deliciously prepared for you in various ways

The Cap Griz Nez means also and above all, the Pavillon “BEL-AIR”, where calmness and peace are reigningt.

The Pavillon “BEL-AIR” is situated near the end of the cape, at 300 meters from the beach. The house is surrounded by a French garden, it also dominates the landscape and offers you an untouchable view of the sea and the coast of England.
